Cutting tools for metalworking

Cutting performance depends on the complete system: workpiece, operation, machine, holder and cutting data. Replacing a part number without that context can make the process less stable.

01

Category scope

The category covers drills, end mills, taps, turning tools and indexable inserts for common metalworking operations. Custom tooling starts only from a drawing and agreed technical requirements.

02

What the specification needs

Include workpiece material and hardness, operation, drawing, diameter and lengths, shank or interface, geometry, coating, feed, speed, coolant, machine and current part number.

03

How to compare offers

Eliminate incompatible options first, then assess tool life, output and cost per finished part. A catalogue cross-reference still requires a controlled trial and result check.
