Private label and OEM: from concept to pilot batch

Private label and OEM involve more than adding a logo. Before ordering, define the product, responsibility model, rights to materials, approved sample version, packaging and batch economics.

Discuss your request
01

Choose the production model

Decide whether you need an existing product under your brand, a modified platform or production to your own specification. Record who owns design, tooling, materials, labels and changes made after sample approval.

02

Turn the concept into a controlled brief

Describe the buyer, use case, critical attributes, references, target cost, volume forecast and acceptable trade-offs. Agree the sample version, packaging files, rights to names and artwork, and required documents separately.

03

Validate a pilot before scaling

Compare MOQ, one-off charges, lead time, change control, quality checks, packaging and landed cost. Scale only after a sample or pilot is checked against the brief and a real sales scenario.
