ENERGY-SYSTEM SOURCING / UBP

Solar energy and charging systems

Separate solar generation, fixed storage, portable backup and EV charging first; then compare supplier configurations on the same technical, documentary and commercial basis.

Discuss the energy brief
01 / Choose a path

One phrase, four different buying paths

01

Photovoltaic generation

Generate electricity from roof- or ground-mounted modules.

Decision brief
Site, consumption profile, area, shading, electrical context and target operating model.
Boundary
Not the same as backup: generation can exist without storage or outage operation.
02

Stationary storage and backup

Keep selected loads operating or shift stored energy for a defined use case.

Decision brief
Critical loads, peak power, required duration, phases, recharge sources and installation environment.
Boundary
A fixed system requires project integration; it is not simply a large portable station.
03

Portable power stations

Supply specified mobile or household loads through an integrated product.

Decision brief
Continuous and starting power, usable energy, ports, recharge time, mobility and duty cycle.
Boundary
Runtime depends on the actual load; product capacity alone is not a usage guarantee.
04

EV charging equipment

Provide AC or DC charging for a vehicle, site, fleet or public location.

Decision brief
Vehicles, connector, dwell time, site capacity, access, billing, monitoring and installation scope.
Boundary
The charger, electrical connection and operator platform are separate decisions.
02 / System boundary

Survey, design, permits, installation, grid work, commissioning, training and service.

Named qualified parties; not assumed inside equipment supply.
03 / Decision brief

Prepare the eight inputs that change the answer

UBP can coordinate requirements, supplier search, comparison and import/export. Engineering selection, structural and electrical design, installation, grid connection, commissioning, conformity and final suitability remain with named qualified parties.

  1. 01

    Use case

Generation, outage backup, portable power, EV charging or a defined combination.

  2. 02

    Load or vehicle profile

List critical loads and starts, or vehicles, connectors, dwell times and charging pattern.

  3. 03

    Power and energy

Separate instantaneous/continuous power from required operating time or energy.

  4. 04

    Electrical and site context

Phases, voltage, available capacity, existing equipment, roof/ground/site information.

  5. 05

    Environment and installation

Indoor/outdoor conditions, temperature, moisture, access, mounting and responsible installer.

  6. 06

    Quantity and scale

One product, repeat distribution order, one site, fleet or multi-site rollout.

  7. 07

    Destination and timing

Delivery country/site, target date, project dependencies and any staged delivery.

  8. 08

    Evidence and service

Required declarations, test summaries, manuals, warranty route, spares and support language.

04 / UBP CHECK

Keep compatibility open until the responsible parties confirm it

01

Application

Confirm
The chosen path and operating objective match the real load or vehicle use.
If unresolved
A product category can appear suitable while solving a different problem.
02

Electrical context

Confirm
Voltage, phases, power, energy, protection and connection assumptions.
If unresolved
Unconfirmed site capacity or load behaviour can invalidate a configuration.
03

Environment

Confirm
Location, temperature, moisture, ventilation, mounting and access constraints.
If unresolved
A rating without actual installation context does not establish suitability.
04

Interfaces

Confirm
Connectors, communications, battery/inverter relationship, metering and platform needs.
If unresolved
Components may not operate together merely because individual ratings look compatible.
05

Evidence and service

Confirm
Exact model documents, issuer, warranty owner, service route and spare-parts plan.
If unresolved
A generic certificate or unclear return route may not cover the supplied configuration.
06

Logistics and installation

Confirm
Battery transport, import documents, delivery access and qualified installation scope.
If unresolved
Equipment delivery alone does not complete a safe or legally usable project.
05 / COMPARE

Compare complete configurations, not headline ratings

Supplier response comparison
CriterionCompareClarify

07 / FAQ

Energy sourcing questions

Which path should I choose?

Start with the outcome: generation, fixed backup/storage, portable power or vehicle charging. If several are needed, describe the interfaces between them rather than treating them as one product.

Can UBP size the system from a device list?

A device list is a start, but responsible technical parties must confirm load behaviour, operating time, site conditions, protection and design assumptions.

Do solar panels provide backup during an outage?

Not automatically. Outage operation depends on the selected system architecture, storage and approved electrical design; it must be confirmed for the project.

Is a portable power station the same as a fixed battery system?

No. They differ in integration, interfaces, installation and responsibility boundaries even when both store energy.

Is charger power the only input for an EV project?

No. Vehicle connectors, dwell time, available site capacity, access, billing, monitoring, protection and installation scope also affect the request.

Are certificates and warranty service automatically included?

Do not assume so. Request exact model coverage, issuer, document type, warranty owner, return route and any service conditions.

UBP / INQUIRY

Choose the energy path, then describe the load or vehicles, power and energy need, site context, quantity, destination, timing and documents. UBP can structure a sourcing review; qualified parties confirm engineering and installation.

Have drawings or a BOM? Mention them in the description; we'll agree how to share files after we reply.
